Skin Surgery
Dr Patrick Lau assesses and surgically manages a wide range of skin lesions and soft tissue lumps, from routine benign growths through to suspected skin cancers. Early assessment of a new, changing, or concerning skin lesion is important, and referral for surgical opinion can form part of your broader skin health care alongside your GP or dermatologist.

Skin Cancer Surgery
Where a skin cancer is suspected or confirmed, Dr Lau provides surgical excision with the aim of complete removal and, where relevant, coordinates care with dermatology and oncology colleagues as part of a broader treatment plan.
Lumps, Cysts and Abscesses
Benign lumps such as lipomas and sebaceous cysts can often be removed as a day procedure under local or general anaesthesia, depending on their size and location. Abscesses may require incision and drainage, particularly where infection is present.
